Sign in to Clyentra
Sign in with email and password, clear the two-factor prompt, and recognize the screens Clyentra shows when a password expires, a workspace is blocked, or sign-in is locked.

This page gets you into your workspace and explains every screen that can stand between you and it — the 2FA prompt, an expired password, a temporary lock, and a blocked subscription.
The standard sign-in
The login page is headed Sign in to continue with the subtitle Enter your credentials to access your account.
- Enter your email. Use the address your account was created with. Note the field is your email, not your username.
- Enter your password. Use the eye icon to reveal it if you want to check what you typed.
- Optionally tick Remember me.
Remember mestores your email address so the field is pre-filled next time. It does not keep you signed in — it is a convenience, not a session setting. - Press Sign In. On success you land on the dashboard at
/home/overview, with your first enabled organization selected automatically.
If the credentials are wrong you see Authentication failed. Please check your credentials. — the message is deliberately identical whether the email or the password was wrong.
Land in the right workspace: Clyentra selects your first enabled organization for you. If you belong to several, switch with the organization switcher in the header once you are in.
If you have two-factor authentication on
After your password is accepted, a panel headed Two-Factor Authentication appears with the instruction "Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app." Type the six digits under AUTHENTICATOR CODE and press Verify & Sign In. A wrong code returns Invalid code. Please try again.
If you don't have your phone
Use the link Don't have your authenticator app? Use a backup code instead. That swaps the panel to a BACKUP CODE field. Clyentra warns you first: "Each backup code can only be used once. Using this code will permanently invalidate it." A wrong entry returns Invalid backup code. Please try again.
Backup codes are consumed: You get 10 codes, and each works exactly once. If you burn through them, regenerate a fresh set from /profile → Security → Backup Codes as soon as you are back in. See Two-factor authentication.
When sign-in gets blocked
Repeated failed attempts trigger protections in order. The exact thresholds are set on the server and are not shown in the app.
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
A reCAPTCHA challenge with Too many failed attempts. Please verify you're human to continue. | Several failed attempts from your browser. | Complete the challenge, then sign in again. The Sign In button stays disabled until the challenge is solved. |
Your account is temporarily locked. | Failures continued past the CAPTCHA stage. The message may include the time the lock lifts. | Wait for the lock to expire, then try again — ideally after resetting your password so you are not guessing. |
Password Expired | Clyentra expires passwords after 90 days. | Press Send Password Reset Link. The screen becomes Reset Link Sent; follow the emailed link. |
The expired-password panel spells it out: "Your password has expired after 90 days. For security, please reset your password to continue." You cannot sign in until you have set a new one. See Reset your password.
When the workspace is blocked, not the account
Sometimes your credentials are fine but the organization cannot be used. Clyentra shows an overlay with the badge Subscription required and one of several headings — Your trial ended, Your renewal payment failed, Your subscription is inactive, or Your plan expired. There is a single call to action, Renew or buy plan, which takes you to Usage & Billing (/usage).
A separate page, Organization Disabled, appears when the organization has been switched off — a lapsed subscription or an administrative action. It offers Manage Subscription and Log Out. Details in Subscription and billing.
Only a billing admin can fix this: If you are a regular member, a blocked-workspace screen is not something you can clear yourself. Tell whoever owns billing for the organization.
Signing out
Signing out invalidates all of your active sessions, not only the browser you clicked in. That is the fastest way to cut off a device you no longer control — sign out once, and everything is logged out.
Think a device is compromised?: Sign out to kill every session, then reset your password, then enable 2FA if it is not already on. In that order.
Questions people ask
Does Remember me keep me signed in?
No. Remember me only remembers your email address so it is pre-filled on the login form next time. It does not extend or preserve your session.
I typed the right password and it still says authentication failed.
Authentication failed. Please check your credentials. is shown for both a wrong email and a wrong password. Confirm the email is the one you registered with, then use Forgot Password? to reset.
Why am I being asked to solve a CAPTCHA?
Repeated failed sign-in attempts trigger it: Too many failed attempts. Please verify you're human to continue. Solve the challenge and try again. If failures continue, sign-in is temporarily locked.
How long is the temporary lock?
The lock duration is set on the server. When Clyentra knows the release time it appends it to the message, so read what the screen tells you rather than guessing.
My password expired. Do I lose anything?
No data is affected. Clyentra expires passwords after 90 days; press Send Password Reset Link, follow the email, and set a new password. Your workspace is untouched.
I've lost my authenticator and my backup codes.
Contact your organization administrator, or email support@clyentra.ai from the address on the account. Without a code or an unused backup code, the 2FA challenge cannot be cleared from the login screen.
Which organization do I land in?
The first enabled organization on your account is selected automatically, and you land on /home/overview. Use the organization switcher in the header to change it.
